Miss Elizabeth Rancourt-Smith began her training with Miss Terri at the age of 8. She started demonstrating dance classes at 9 and joined the dance team. As a soloist, Miss Liz recieved many awards, including Best Emotional Execution and Best Presentation, and was nominated as a DanceOlympus Dancer of The Year three times for Tap and Lyrical, and competed for the title nationally. She has studied with many legendary teachers and choreographers, including Debbi Dee, Dianne Walker, Frank Hatchett, and Steven Boyd, as well as some of the hottest teachers of today, like Mia Michaels, Andy Blankenbeuller, Derek Mitchell, Gregg Russell, and Jason Samuels. She appeared on Season 3, Episode 1 of Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance”, was a semifinalist for the Boston Celtics Dancers, and has appeared in various stage productions, including “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “Fame Forever”. She had taught at various studios in Maine and Massachusetts before taking a season off, and is thrilled to return home to TNT. She attended Emerson College and Andover College and holds a degree in Legal Studies. She manages Starbucks-Topsham and resides in South Freeport with her husband, Scott, and in March is expecting her first child!
